Never put frozen food in the slow cooker expecting it to thaw. Don't reheat leftovers in a slow cooker. Will my children enjoy the meals? We strive to make each meal family friendly, which is why we offer the opportunity to remove any ingredient that your family doesn't care for. A new selection of meals are offered every month. We believe that children should be encouraged to try new foods...so give it a try, our dinners are excellent! Do I need to know how to cook? No, all the ingredients are chopped and prepared for you. Just follow the recipe at the cooking station, measure and place ingredients in pan or baggie. Take the meals home to freeze and cook according to the directions given by TLC. All of the TLC's entrees are designed to be removed from the freezer and placed into the refrigerator, at least 24 hours before you plan to begin cooking them. Do not thaw food on your countertop as this can cause food borne illness. If you must thaw your entree quickly, follow your microwave oven manufacturers' instructions on defrosting procedures. We will provide you with food handling gloves at each entree preparation station, if you desire to use them. We suggest that you wear them while handling any raw meats or seafood. You will be required to wash your hands before you begin assembling your entrees, before you leave the restroom and again when you arrive back to the kitchen area.
